Dublin Express

Bus to and from Dublin Airport | Dublin City Centre and Suburbs (1)

Dublin Express operates premium quality coaches between Dublin Airport and their 15+ conveniently located stops across the heart of Dublin City centre, including Temple Bar, Trinity College, O’Connell Street and Heuston Station. Departing from immediately outside the doors of Terminals 1 & 2, their services include free customer Wi-Fi, USB charging points and an onboard toilet.

Dublin Express operates from Zone 1 at Terminal 1 and Zone 21 at Terminal 2 and travels directly into Dublin via the Port Tunnel, making it the fastest coach to Dublin City centre. View Dublin Airport bus maphere.

Routes 782 and 784 operate between city centre and Dublin Airport. 782 includes stops between Georges Quay and Custom House Quay via Heuston Station. 784 has stops between Harcourt Luas and 3Arena.

We recommend you pre-book your ticket to avoid disappointment. Book tickets online in advance (recommended) or buy at terminal bus stops. Tickets can also be bought from the driver using a bank card, Apple or Goggle pay. Cash is not accepted.

Buses operate between 04:05 and 00:35. Journey time will depend on traffic conditions etc. but is usually 30 minutes from the city centre.

Aircoach

Bus to and from Dublin Airport | Dublin City Centre and Suburbs (2)

Aircoach operates many routes to Dublin City centre and Dublin county, and departs from just outside Terminal 1, zone 2, and Terminal 2, zone 20. To view, please see the Dublin Airport bus maphere. Please check with Aircoach for the latest timetable information. We recommend you pre-book your ticket in advance of travel.

Route 700, serves the city centre and Leopardstown via Drumcondra, Donnybrook, UCD and Stillorgan. Route 702 and 703 serve Greystones and Killiney via Ballsbridge and Blackrock.

Tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the Aircoach departure points at terminals. Tickets can also be purchased from the driver using a bank card, Apple or Google pay (contactless payment total must not exceed €50). Cash is accepted on all routes except the 750X which is a cashless route. Journey time will depend on traffic conditions etc. but is usually 30 minutes from the city centre.

Dublin Bus

Bus to and from Dublin Airport | Dublin City Centre and Suburbs (3)
Dublin Bus operate routes 16 and 41 from Zone 15 (view the Dublin Airport bus stop maphere). Both the 41 and 16 are low floor accessible for wheelchair users via an onboard ramp that can be deployed. The 16 bus operates between 06:00 - 23:30 Monday to Saturday, and 08:00 -23:30 on Sundays. The 41 bus runs 24/7 every day including weekends.

Payment can be made in coins (exact fare only) to the driver on the bus or using pre-paid tickets (Dublin Bus tickets or Leap Card) which can be purchased in retail outlets or at ticket machines at selected bus stops.

The standard one-way fare to the city centre from the airport is €2.00. Please note that the 41 bus has limited capacity for luggage storage.

Journey time on these buses varies depending on the time of day, traffic conditions etc. It is recommended that passengers allow at least 40 minutes from the city centre for the journey (this does not include waiting time for the bus).

Go-Ahead Ireland operates the 102 route to Sutton Station that serves Swords, Malahide, Portmarnock and Sutton and the 33A that serves Balbriggan, Skerries, Rush, Lusk and Swords. Services operate from Zone 15 (view the Dublin Airport bus stop maphere).

The 33A operates 06:00 – 00:30 Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 00:30 on Saturdays and 10:00 to 23:30 on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays. The 102 operates from 05:50 to 23:40 Monday to Friday, 05:45 and 23:45 on Saturdays, 08:40 – 23:40 on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays.

Please ensure you have the correct change for you cash fare as driver cannot accept notes or issue change. Bank cards are not accepted. Pre-paid tickets (Leap Cards) are accepted and can be purchased in retail outlets.
