Can you loot Minthara after knocking her out? ›

You can achieve this by attacking her without Halsin being visible or by stealing something in front of her then attacking her, but make sure you do this after promising to help her clear out the Grove. If you've done this correctly, knocking Minthara out will leave her as a lootable body but still alive.

You'll encounter another pod with a captive inside it, although this captive does not seem to be responsive at all. Loot everything you can find in this room, as there's a Gold Key up for grabs too. Then, come back and interact with the control panel and the Rune to free Shadowheart and add her to your team.

You can 100% get Both Minthara and Halsin in your party without issue. Walnut stampede! I have both of them on my current playthrough. They occupy the same tent in camp though (maybe because they were intended to be mutually exclusive, idk).

You can, it seems, dispatch the rest of her fellow cultists but leave her alive and she'll turn up in Act 2, when you arrive in Moonrise Towers. You can then free her from the clutches of Ketheric Thorm, aka Evil Beardy J. Jonah Jameson.

You can convince her to leave a little room for you, which will get you a minimised relationship, but you can't fully romance Shadowheart unless you save the Nightsong. Doing this will cause her to become a Cleric of Selune, freeing her heart to find true love with your character.

Getting Shadowheart Back In Your BG3 Party

Usually, it's not possible to get a character back after they've left, but with this bug keeping Shadowheart at camp, a specific trigger can actually return the option to have her join the party.

How to free Shadowheart. Towards the end of the first act upon the Nautiloid ship, you'll enter a room on the way to the helm with a restoration point to the right and a glowing red pod to the left. Interact with the pod to speak to Shadowheart, who'll beg you to let her out.

So according to this article I just found, it's possible to recruit Minthara as a good guy by knocking her out at the goblin camp, going to moonrise towers then going back to the goblin camp, turning her into a sheep (Sheepthara lol) then dominating her, going back with her to moonrise and triggering her trial.

To recruit Minthara, it is necessary that she remains alive during Act One, so make a save (or two) right before encountering Minthara to ensure she has the status effect. And remember, you must use non-lethal attacks when she gets down to low HP to knock her out instead of killing her.

Long rest will wake any KO so hand in both "kill the goblin leaders" missions (Halsin and Zevlor give you a quest to kill the leaders) while she is KO'd and BEFORE you long rest. UK gamer on SX PS5 and PC. Attacking her should do the trick as well.
