ONLY IN WISE…TUESDAY, JUNE 11: COUNTY ROAD 4849 — A person temporarily staying on a property reported being assaulted with a stick by the property owner. Upon arrival, property owner admitted to it but stated it was in self defense after the temporary resident attempted to “sick his dogs on him.” The situation arose after the property owner confronted the temp with weapon in hand. Property owner was arrested.

ONLY IN WISE…SUNDAY, JUNE 2: COUNTY ROAD 3420 — A woman called and said she and her roommate were arguing, and the roommate attempted to strike her multiple times. Complainant also stated she struck another roommate with a Stanley cup. Deputies arrived on scene and conducted an investigation. Due to the aggressor’s extensive list of medical issues, parties were separated and charges will be filed at large.

ONLY IN WISE…SATURDAY, JUNE 1: COUNTY ROAD 4757 — A woman said she and her husband have been arguing all day, and she wanted him to leave after he threw gasoline on her. Deputies arrived and investigated the incident. Deputies determined no offense occurred.

ONLY IN WISE…FRIDAY, MAY 24: WEST ELM STREET — Caller reported being struck in the leg by an unknown pickup outside of a polling location. Caller suffered a minor scrape on their leg but no other injuries. Caller believed the unknown driver of the pickup acted intentionally. Caller wanted to pursue charges.

ONLY IN WISE…WEDNESDAY, MAY 15: BANJO TRAIL — A woman stated her jump houses were stolen from the front of her driveway. Complainant stated she had security camera footage of the suspect and she would be arriving deliver the footage to the sheriff’s office and sign the necessary paperwork.

ONLY IN WISE…WEDNESDAY, MAY 8: SANDY BASS LANE — A woman advised that her neighbor came to speak with her about a situation that happened on the playground between their kids. Complainant advised she and her neighbor started arguing and the fight ensued. Due to conflicting stories, deputies determined it was mutual combat.

ONLY IN WISE…THURSDAY, MAY 2: COUNTY ROAD 3825 — Complainant stated she was held at gun point by a man who lived at her residence five months ago. She stated the man took her boyfriend’s truck as well as various tools. She stated a woman who also lived at the residence within the past five months was also involved. She stated the man and woman put something in her drink that drugged her to the point of passing out for 12 hours. She stated when she woke up from the previous drugging, she smoked meth and called a friend but did not report the incident to authorities. The complainant’s boyfriend who is residing in the Montague County Jail, called his ex-wife to come check on his house because he knew something was wrong. Once the ex-wife was made aware of the incident, she called and reported the incident.

ONLY IN WISE…FRIDAY, APRIL 26: PUNJABI DHABBA — A highly intoxicated man called 911 repeatedly, complaining about not being paid for a month, etc., and was continuously yelling/cussing at dispatchers. Deputy located the man outside, behind the main restaurant building on the property. He immediately began rambling/ranting about being a reincarnated Native American, the eventual destruction of America, the Mafia, Illuminati, etc. He admitted to smoking marijuana and drinking wine. He was arrested for public intoxication and later had to be subdued by jailers due to his behavior.

ONLY IN WISE…SUNDAY, APRIL 21: MOSLEY LANE — A woman advised that her husband broke into his own locked house and started attacking another man in the couple’s bedroom. The complainant then shot a round in the direction of her husband. Through investigation, it was determined not to be justified to use deadly force, and complainant was arrested.
