King Charles III was the longest serving Duke of Cornwall, Prince of Wales and heir apparent. He has been working as a senior member of the Royal Family for decades and became king after his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, passed away yesterday.
It has previously been reported that, when the Prince of Wales becomes king, only seven royals could make the cut and be involved in the monarchy.

How old was King Charles when he met Lady Diana?
Prince Charles and Princess Diana first met in 1977 at Althorp House, Diana's country estate in Northamptonshire. At the time, Charles was 29 and Diana just 16.
In a 1981 interview with the Telegraph, Charles said: "I remember thinking what a very jolly and amusing and attractive 16-year-old she was.
"I mean, great fun, and bouncy and full of life and everything."
Charles was dating her older sister Sarah at the time but their relationship did not last long. Charles and the Spencer's did remain in the same social circles, however, the Mirror reports.

"And this ridiculous [reporter] said, 'Are you in love?' I thought, 'What a thick question.' So I said, 'Yes, of course, we are,' and Charles turned around and said, 'Whatever love means.' And that threw me completely. I thought, 'What a strange answer.' It traumatised me."
By 1992, the marriage had all but ended and Prime Minister John Major announced their separation.
Their last royal trip together was in that same year.
Speaking on the documentary, Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, said: "They went separately and they left separately I think the press really jumped on that and they realised this was going seriously wrong, but nobody apart from Diana and her intimate circle knew about Camilla at that time."
They eventually filed for divorce in 1996 and both continued their royal duties.
